Space Image Photoshop

Space Image

I have created and edited this image to give the impression that the earth is being heated up and that the spacemen are escaping to the moon. This is a practice so I understand Photoshop better.

Target Audience

My product aims at the conventional fans; my research has told me that generally the main target audience is people age 14-24, I went into further detail with my questions identifying the reasons in which this is the most popular age to listen to this kind of music and the reasons given were pretty unanimous. From the age of 14 the level of work that students do begins to intensify, this means that for them they must work hard in a positive calm environment to produce the best results. Pop music is often cheerful which raises the mood of the listener and can help focus them on their work, unlike other genres of music pop is not loud and over powering, even the intense songs aren’t distracting.

In sixth form with students aged 16-18 are generally allowed to listen to music in class as long as the teacher is in control. 75% of pupils claims that this is the case and that the music played can be from the radio or personalised playlists, the station that I found was most listen to was Capital which is mainly pop music which them captivates the audience. Once these songs have been heard pupils find it hard to get the tunes out of their head and begin looking for the songs in their own time and taking interests in the artists. This then continues throughout the rest of the students’ education.

I then asked what kind of language the readers would like; they suggested that I should focus on making my language formal however I should use elements of informal language to keep the readers interested. My language should avoid using words that could cause offense or be misinterpreted, it must also ensure that it suits the audience and I should not use language that wouldn’t be used by people over 24, this means that I should keep the language simple but not childish and patronise the readers.
